Position Overview

Alteryx is searching for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will join a team of highly passionate engineers who will be responsible for delivering the next generation of Alteryx Designer product to the cloud. We’re looking for problem solvers, innovators, and dreamers who are searching for anything but business as usual.

Responsibilities​

• Analyze requirements and technical documentation to plan, develop and implement tests.

• Create, execute, track and maintain manual and automated functional and regression test suites.

• Enhance automation test frameworks by implementing additional test cases and utilities.

• Provide insight into test requirements, design and implementation.

• Provide detailed problem analysis to the development teams driving product quality.

• Committed to deliver a quality product.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years’ experience with Software Development.

• MS/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate successfully with both local and remote team members.

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages (preferably Java).

• Experience with test automation.

• Experience with testing REST APIs.

• Fluent English.

Valued Skills

• Knowledge of Playwright and/or Jest test automation frameworks.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum driven development environment.

• Experience with applications and services hosted in AWS/Azure/GCP.

• Experience using GIT or equivalent SCM.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, GitLab and DevOps.

• Experience with web-based applications.

• Knowledge of Typescript.

• Frequent communication with US - willingness to participate on occasional meetings at late hours (due to time difference).
