We are looking for a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (Junior SDET) to join our team of passionate engineers building and validating data connectors for our flagship product.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and execution of automated and manual tests, work closely with senior engineers, and grow your skills in test automation and quality engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in analyzing project requirements and defining effective test cases for new and existing features.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test suites for functional and regression testing.

  • Assist in implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright and Pytest.

  • Help monitor automated test results, identify issues, and collaborate with developers on bug fixes.

  • Document and track defects with clear and detailed reporting.

  • Support maintaining up-to-date and accurate product documentation.

  • Learn and adopt best practices in test automation, code quality, and continuous integration.

  • Work closely with senior SDETs, developers, and product managers to ensure features meet quality standards and release criteria.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Software Tester, QA Engineer, or SDET (or strong internship/project experience).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Basic understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright. Proficiency in Python.

  • Familiarity with REST API testing.

  • Understanding of version control systems and CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab). Basic knowledge of shell scripting. Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Nice to Have: Exposure to testing data connectors or data integration workflows. Awareness of non-functional testing areas such as performance, security, and accessibility.
