Key responsibilities:
- Work in a focused and nimble team that collaborates on common problems across products and across focus areas.
- Own components, processes, and workflows that demand professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Monitor and maintain CI pipelines, and collaborate on CD enablement.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and provide solutions for better coverage and maintainability.
- Effectively communicate and participate as a crucial member of both the DevEx team and QA organization.
- Participate in the design and implementation of automation strategies, frameworks, and infrastructure.
- Set and drive coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in test automation, development, and CI/CD.
- Focus on TestOps and DevOps practices to support testing infrastructure, developer productivity, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance the developer experience and streamline software delivery.
- Apply and explore AI tools and test strategies to improve automation and testing efficiency.
Required experience:
- 5+ years of test automation experience
- Proficiency in Python or Go or JavaScript
- Willingness to work with new programming languages and technologies
- Ability to improve, debug, and maintain an automation framework codebase
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance principles
- CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Spinnaker
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to triage complex issues
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation
- Experience improving TestOps and DevOps practices across teams
- Excellent collaboration skills, with a focus on improving developer experience
Desirable experience:
- Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Scaling SDLC processes across teams
- UI/UX and API (full stack) testing
- Test frameworks: Pytest, Cypress, Go, Playwright
- Advertising technologies and the advertising ecosystem
- Application development
- Strategies for AI model testing
