Trimble is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (P2) to support our Cityworks AMS and PLL applications in Chennai, India. You will focus on ensuring software quality through both manual and automated testing, emphasizing cybersecurity validation and continuous improvement.
Job PurposeTo ensure the reliability, quality, and security of Cityworks applications through robust test planning, execution, and automation coverage.
Main ResponsibilitiesValidate and document software defects, ensuring reproducibility.
Execute and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
Validate vulnerability fixes and perform regression tests.
Analyze logs and scan results to support root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Dev and Product teams to ensure secure and high-quality releases.
Experience in QA automation frameworks, preferably Selenium with C#.
Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, Windows Server, and IIS.
Exposure to cybersecurity testing and vulnerability validation.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Visual Studio, and test case management.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3–5 years of professional QA experience.
Hands-on experience with test automation and regression validation.
Familiarity with Cityworks or GIS-based systems is an advantage.
