About the Role:

You will be a Software Development Engineer II on the Lending Servicing team reporting to an Engineering Manager. Lending is a new product area that is scaling. The Servicing team builds and owns the experiences customers use to manage their lending products throughout their lifecycle.

You will develop end-to-end features across backend services and customer-facing applications. You will work with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver reliable, high-quality experiences. This is a hybrid role (50% onsite) based in our Krakow office.

You Will:

  • Develop and maintain full-stack features that support lending products
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate customer needs into technical solutions
  • Contribute to backend services, APIs, and frontend applications used by customers
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve system quality and maintainability
  • Help operate and support production systems through monitoring, on-call participation, and issue resolution
  • Continue to grow your technical skills and domain knowledge while contributing to a collaborative team culture

You Have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience building features used by customers
  • 2+ years frontend feature development in partnership with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers
  • Proficiency in any of the following languages and frameworks: NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, ReactNative, and Expo

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically zł244,000 - zł274,500. In Poland, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan. Your recruiter can share more information about medical benefits offered, as well as other financial benefits and total compensation components offered with this role.

Remitly Poland applies increased tax deductible costs (KUP) to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an "author") for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
