About the Role
Looking for a creative coding enthusiast, Imagine a role where your passion for programming and design collide to shape captivating user experiences across platforms. Welcome to Zeta, where innovation meets creativity, and we're seeking a Frontend Developer to be the driving force behind our digital dreams.
Responsibilities
- Coding and Development: Write, test, and maintain high-quality code following best practices and coding standards.
- Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to the codebase.
- Agile Development: Work within an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and solve technical problems independently or with minimal guidance.
- Code Optimization: Learn and apply techniques for optimizing code for performance and efficiency.
Skills
- Programming Languages: Experience in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, or C# and an understanding of language-specific frameworks and libraries.
- Web Development Basics: Knowledge HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and Understanding of web development concepts and technologies.
- Database Management: Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- APIs: (Application Programming Interfaces): Understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Server-Side Development: Understanding of server-side development concepts.
- Frameworks and Libraries: Knowledge with backend frameworks such as Django (Python), Spring (Java), Express (Node.js), or Flask (Python).Knowledge of relevant libraries and tools within the chosen framework.
- Data Structures and Algorithms: Understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms. Ability to apply algorithms to solve real-world problems efficiently.
- Testing: Experience with writing unit tests for backend code. Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering with 1 year of experience
- Passion for Programming.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Aware of various product design, functional design and usability factors in designing.
- Experience with Linux as a working environment for development and deployment
- Exposure to SOAP or XML-RPC or any other remoting or service oriented application technology
