As a fullstack software development engineer at Authentic, you will be responsible for building large-scale distributed serverless systems that underpin our small-business insurance buying experience. You will collaborate with peers in product, operations, and finance on a range of multi-disciplinary projects to create delightful customer experiences for small businesses and software platforms.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate in the design, implementation, and deployment of successful internet-scale systems and services in support of our commerce operations and the businesses they support.
Help define our secure, scalable, distributed and event-driven systems.
Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
Understand system interdependencies and limitations.
Helping build delightful user experiences
Experience:
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
5+ years of non-internship experience programming with Python, Go or Rust
2+ years of non-internship experience programming with Typescript
