As a Software Development Engineer – Full Stack on the Work Automation team, you will design and develop high-quality, scalable software that delivers key capabilities across our product roadmap. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional, agile team that owns features end to end—from idea to production.

We build cloud-native, microservices-based solutions designed for scale, reliability, and security. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers while gaining exposure to a broad range of technologies and architectural patterns.

Genesys Software Engineers think deeply about performance, security, scalability, and usability. We primarily develop in Angular, Java and Python, and build on a wide range of AWS cloud services.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and testable software solutions.
• Deliver features through the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Contribute to and understand the overall system architecture and wider product ecosystem.
• Participate actively in team code reviews, ensuring quality and shared ownership.
• Apply best practices for data security, traceability, and information sharing.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across globally distributed teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 2+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• A proactive, self-driven mindset with a strong interest in learning and professional growth.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
