About the Team/Role
The Senior Software Development Engineer (P3) is a core contributor to the 10-4 App ecosystem. You will plan, design, and develop complex software systems that drive our visibility tools. This role requires a versatile engineer who can navigate between application development and system-level enhancements using Agile methodologies.
How you’ll make an impact
- System Development: Design and test cloud-based tools and internet-related applications to enhance the 10-4 user experience.
- Agile Execution: Work within Agile frameworks to deliver iterative software enhancements, ensuring all code is clean, efficient, and maintainable.
- Security-First Mindset: Collaborate on ensuring that all hosted networks and web products are designed to be cyber-safe and compliant with industry standards.
- Cloud Integration: Work closely with Storage and Network engineers to optimize database performance and network reliability for hosted applications.
Experience you’ll bring
- Technical Proficiency: Strong background in common development methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).
- Breadth of Knowledge: Ability to work across functional designations (Applications and Systems).
- Problem Solving: Proven experience in troubleshooting complex software bugs and hardening internal systems against vulnerabilities.
