Position Summary
- The Senior Front‑End Developer – we are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced UI customizations for airline digital channels (e‑Retail DX, RefX, DES, XCreator).
- The role involves delivering high‑quality, scalable front‑end enhancements built on Angular and TypeScript, ensuring adherence to Amadeus standards for performance, maintainability, and user experience.
- The Senior Front‑End Developer acts as a technical reference, mentoring team members, contributing to architectural decisions, and collaborating closely with Product Owners, Customer Success Engineers, and agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop high‑quality front‑end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS.
- Customize user interfaces for airline booking flows, Manage‑My‑Booking, ancillaries, check‑in, and other touchpoints.
- Lead front‑end design discussions and guide implementation choices.
- Perform code reviews and enforce best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX/UI teams and CSEs.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
- Ensure compliance with Amadeus standards for accessibility, security, and product alignment.
- Contribute to unit testing, functional testing, and non‑regression efforts.
Candidate Profile- 6+ years of hands‑on experience in modern front‑end development.
- Expert knowledge of Angular (v8–v17) and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, RxJS, and SPA architectures.
- Experience building complex, performant front‑end applications.
- Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and technical leadership.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
