As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing the ideal backend system architecture, addressing customer pain points, and contributing to the overall success of our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Architecture: Develop an ideal backend system architecture to solve problems efficiently.Create strategic plans to achieve the long-term vision while delivering shorter-term solutions that provide immediate value to our customers.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their pain points.Collaborate on brainstorming sessions to devise innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience
- Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking to problem-solving, starting from the ground up.Challenge existing solutions and propose novel approaches free from bias
What We're Seeking:
- 1+ years of relevant professional full-time experience building backend systems.
- Proactive self-starter capable of independently solving problems.
- Write clean and maintainable code using Python, Django, PostGreSQL / any relevant backend stack
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the backend system
- Optimize the performance of the backend services (GCP , DBT)
Nice-to-Have:
- Some exposure to FrontEnd (React, basic familiarity with a JS library + willingness to learn)
- Eagerness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Natural curiosity and a drive to find creative solutions to complex problems
- Autonomy and a willingness to lead and initiate projects
- Focus on quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to customer delight
