About the Position
You will have the opportunity to work with the Data & BI, Software Development or Quantitative Development teams. You will have the opportunity to gain experience by collaborating closely with snr software engineers, quantitative engineers, analysts and Reinsurance subject matter experts.

Key Relationships
Reports to: IT Lead
You will have the opportunity to:
Assist with data integration and automation projects, helping to ensure smooth data flow across various systems.
Collaborate with team members to support the design and optimization of technology solutions.
Contribute to the development and improvement of data storage and processing systems to enhance reporting and analytics.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Work with analysts and data professionals to help implement data-driven strategies and solutions.
Support data quality checks and assist in troubleshooting issues related to data workflows and pipelines.
Stay updated on new trends and technologies in data management, cloud infrastructure, and relevant industry practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education Background:
BA/BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with SQL and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
Basic understanding of Python, Java, or another programming language for data manipulation.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
Exposure to data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar is advantageous.
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic data modelling concepts.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A passion for learning new concepts and technologies.
