Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Junior Software Developer to join our team working on cutting-edge Private 5G solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and ready to grow their skills in the telecom domain. No prior experience in 5G is required, as you'll receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior developers to help you become proficient and confident in your role.

Your Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop 5G Mobile Core Network functions in alignment with 3GPP standards.
- Learn to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on detailed specifications and guidance.
- Assist in integrating software components and third-party programs into existing systems.
- Work closely with mentors to verify and deploy programs and systems successfully.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software under guidance.
- Explore new technologies and contribute ideas for innovative solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Learn and apply best practices to improve development workflows and software quality.
What You’ll Learn and Develop:
- Foundations of 3GPP standards (4G, LTE, and 5G technologies).
- Hands-on experience with networking protocol stacks (TCP/UDP/SCTP).
- Advanced Linux network stack concepts and applications.
- Basics of containerization environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Software development lifecycle processes and agile methodologies.
- Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
Skills We're Looking For:
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
- 2-4 years of experience in SW in system or backend development
- General networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, routing, protocols).
- Curiosity to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Fluent in Italian and English
