GENERAL DESCRIPTION (SUMMARY, SCOPE, PURPOSE)
Hub Financial Services and Miniter Group have partnered together to provide collateral risk transfer expertise, and the associated software solutions necessary to deliver this expertise. Hub Financial Services is the fifth largest insurance brokerage company working with Miniter Group, who has the most flexible web-based tracking systems and is looking for a Software Developer to join the dynamic team! Under the supervision of the CIO, plan, develop, and test leading edge web-based software programs for Hub Financial Services’ and Miniter Group’s insurance products and services in the office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement features end-to–end with minimal guidance
- Contribute to the design of features both architecturally and from a functionality point of view
- Explain the positive and negative features of multiple solutions to a problem
- Understand user requests for new or modified programs
- Design web pages to accomplish goals of user request
- Enter commands into computer to run and test program
- Read code and observes screen to detect syntax or logic errors during program tests, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors
- Replace, delete, or modify codes to correct program errors
- Other tasks/projects as assigned

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Three to five years of programming experience with C#, ASP MVC, React, JavaScript and SQL Server skills to plan, develop, and test leading edge, web-based software programs used for insurance products and services.
