Deluxe Merchant Services is growing. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a company that is seeking innovators to help us take our technology to new heights. As a Software Developer you will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.
- Write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications
- Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle
- Collaborate with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications
- Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems
- Develop and maintain business-critical applications and reports
- Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications
- Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering and 2 years of software development experience; OR HS/GED and 6 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including C#, Transact SQL, .netcore
- Understanding of Internet Information Services (IIS), application deployment methodologies, source control & versioning (TFS)
- Understanding of Change Control methodologies
- Solid understanding of coding methods and best practices.
- Extensive relational database and operating systems experience
- Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including MS .Net and ASP
- Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
- Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering AND 2 years of software development experience
- Experience with mobile applications
- Prior Merchant Services or Payments experience
- Experience in finance
