ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
- Analyze user specifications and business requirements to design, develop, test, deploy, and support critical business applications.
- Develop and maintain backend application functionality, services, and integrations using C# and .NET.
- Build and maintain responsive front-end applications and reusable components using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Design, write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, database integrations, and application data solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Develop, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-based applications and services in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Build and maintain Docker images, containers, and deployment configurations for consistent application environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, database, MRP/ERP, and shop floor system issues; provide second-level support.
- Work in person and collaborate with business users, corporate teams, and external service providers to gather requirements, coordinate work, and support solutions.
- Create and maintain accurate source code, configuration, technical documentation, and support procedures for internally and third-party-developed applications.
- Follow secure development practices, data and user security requirements, local and Corporate Best Practices, and applicable regulations.
- Research, evaluate, and apply current software development, cloud, container, database, and IT technologies that support business requirements.
- Act as a backup to the Network Analyst for data and user security and perform other duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
- 4 years of professional software development experience preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, communicate progress, and follow assigned work through completion.
- Experience developing front-end applications with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience developing applications, services, and integrations with C# and .NET.
- Experience writing SQL and working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience developing, deploying, or supporting solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Experience developing, deploying, or supporting solutions in AWS.
- Experience building and maintaining Docker images and containers.
- Experience with database security and maintenance.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience working within an Agile software development process.
- Experience supporting MRP/ERP systems or shop floor equipment.
- Experience with PLC and microcontroller systems.
