The Opportunity:

CACI has established and upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of AFRICOM, EUCOM and CJTF-HOA’s mission objectives.

Join a dynamic team of Software Engineers providing development support and custom ASP.NET software development for multiple COCOMs, associated staff elements and organizations. Work in a team environment to steward custom built applications through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Candidate will assist in the daily maintenance of existing web applications and public facing web sites. Participate in the modernization and enhancement of legacy applications and web sites as identified by the client.
Responsibilities:

• Engaging the DoD customer in a service oriented capacity with the highest levels of professionalism both remotely and on site.
• Providing immediate support to the DoD Public Affairs customer for the release of time sensitive press materials.
• Providing support for integration of public facing web content with social networking platforms and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core frameworks.

• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented C# code for both front-end and back-end components.

• Developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Working with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.

• Implementing front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and potentially frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.

• Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.

• Implementing security best practices and data protection measures.

• Integrating third-party services and APIs as needed.

• Conducting code reviews and participating in pair programming sessions.

• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects.

• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.

• Staying updated with the latest .NET technologies, tools, and best practices.

• Participating in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

• Mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge within the team.

• Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of applications in various environments (development, staging, production).

• Writing and maintaining technical documentation.

• Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications:
Required: 

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Candidate should be a full stack developer experienced in ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core web applications using C#
• Good knowledge of Microsoft web development tool stack (Visual Studio, Azure DevOps), best practices/patterns, technologies and strong experience with JavaScript / Typescript web browser client development.
• 6+ years professional experience developing web applications using C# ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
• Able to develop interactive browser based applications using JavaScript / TypeScript
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Intermediate level proficiency with CSS3/Boostrap
• CompTia Security+ (or other certification IAW DoD 8570.1 Technical Level II)
• A qualifying 8570 Computing Environment certification.
• Programming in HTML5 w/ JavaScript and CSS3
• Programming in C#
• Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications

Desired:

• Preferred client development experience should include Angular or vanilla JavaScript.
• Ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency with CSS3/Bootstrap, as appealing web design will be a core requirement for supported COCOM public facing web sites.
• Experience administering and maintaining web applications hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment would be ideal.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
