The opportunity:

Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products has Secondary Engineering team for Gas Insulated Switchgear to produce Local Control Cubicles. The work involves mainly to develop and maintain applications for Zuken E3 Cad as per the engineering team requirements. You will be an individual contributor who would deliver the tasks as per the given inputs and when required, need to work in coordination with other colleagues and should exhibit good collaborative skills to complete the task

How you’ll make an impact

• ​Develop tools with Zuken E3 API to meet the needs of the engineers.

• Knowledge of VB .NET / C# 9.0 & .NET framework 5 and above.

• Familiarity with the.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC)).

• Should have experience in Excel Automation (COM, Excel Macro, Open-XML)

• Should have worked with Windows Forms and WPF Applications (MVVM)

• Database Plan, build database a relational database modelling.

• Maintain existing software by identifying and correcting software defects.

• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework)- Deeper knowledge and understanding of relational SQL server database design, including optimization and testing of the database model.

• Should familiarize and have experience with code maintenance.

• Work closely with engineering teams to gather and process data and create applications as per the requirement.

• Investigate and develop application with new requirements.

• Implementing appropriate algorithms and scripts.

• Reduce the Work life cycle and enhance the quality of the output for the Engineers.

​Your background:

• B. E in (CSE or IT) / or B.C.A. / M.C.A. or B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Comp Science) with overall experience of 2-4 years.

• Knowledge of VB .Net / C# 9.0 & .NET framework 5 and above. (Nice to have experience in e3, not mandatory)

• Good knowledge of MS SQL database- Database Knowledge, queries, procedures. Familiarity with MVVM skills, WPF skills / Full Stack development. Entity framework / PRISM Xaml Application are preferable.

• Ability to work with outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills.  Ability to work in a team and maintain professionalism.

• Good Communication and Interpersonal skill
