Job Description
We want to add a new feature using augmented reality technology to our existing apps (Bosch EasyDoc e Buderus ProLibrary).
The team focus on conveying specialized product information in a clear and accessible manner. In this role, they create instructions and explanations that help professionals (installers/technicians) and the end customers understand how a product works, how to use it, and its procedures.
Technical communicators serve as the bridge between development experts and users. The team consists of collaborators from three areas of expertise: Technical Writing, Graphic Design, and Video production (videographers, video editors, 3D experts).
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Familiar with the development environment i.e. Unity and the scripting/programming language that is used there i.e. C#. (main requirement)
- PBR rendering pipeline
- General rendering (baked lights vs dynamic one)
- Experience with the different OS specific rendering frameworks (e.g., Metal for iOS)
- Understanding of UV mapping
- Understanding of 3D Geometry and 3D Design
- UI/UX understanding and creation in Unity; prior knowledge of AR UI/UX is very important
- Experience in integrating AR features in Mobile Apps
- Understanding of different Tracking methods
- Experience with ARCore/ARKit libraries
- Experiences with other AR engines (or if already familiar with Vuforia SDK) this would be a plus
- As a soft skill: Ability to spend some time deep-diving in documentation and not being afraid to experiment with options is a big plus
