We are seeking a hardworking & passionate Software Engineer to work on software development for Firewall and Firewall management.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops automation software/script using Python and other scripting languages.
- Facilitate problem diagnosis and prompt resolution for issues reported by customers.
- Maintain existing software features by implementing enhancements and fixing bugs.
- Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, test case reviews, and process enhancements.
- Write functional and design specifications, and work with the technical publications team for documentation needs.
- Collaborate and communicate well with others on requirements and status to ensure products are properly developed within set deadlines and reports are accurate
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with Python programming in Linux.
- Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts.
- Good to have API Development experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience:
- Strong experience with Rest API development.
- Strong experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems.
- Experience with cloud services like EMR, Kinesis, S3 and Redshift preferred.
- Prior knowledge and experience building micro-services-based platform preferred.
