Software Designer 3D Imaging & Algorithms
Utilize your C++ software design engineering skills combined with a signal processing background to develop and enhance our portfolio of state-of-the-art 3-dimensional imaging applications to support interventional cardiac and vascular medical procedures (e.g., balloon angioplasty and stent placements) on the Philips Azurion image-guided therapy system.
Your role:
- You make a substantial contribution to the innovation of our clinical products. You will develop new clinical products & supporting platforms, using latest software technologies and resources. - Your become part of an extremely driven International cross-functional R&D team of the business unit Image Guided Therapy Systems R&D. Your local team is in Best (Eindhoven North), The Netherlands, and you will collaborate with other teams globally. - Typical activities span a range of areas, including advanced C++ software development and algorithm remediation, which involves refining and improving algorithms to ensure optimal performance throughout their life cycle.
- We also focus on data management using MLOps, a set of practices for automating and streamlining machine learning workflows and continuously verify and validate algorithm output quality for both classic signal and image processing as well as state-of-the-art computer vision applications.
- These tasks directly contribute to our shared goals of delivering reliable and innovative solutions. Your expertise could be invaluable in these areas.
You're the right fit if:
- You have 10+ years developing software and at least 5 years experience working with complex high-tech systems
- You have proven design and engineering skills in modern C++ in the area of algorithm development, user experience and/or 3D imaging on Windows, Mac or Linux environments.
- You have obtained a MSc or PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science (or equivalent);
- You are a self-starter, results-driven, working accurate and as team player striving for continuous improvement.
