In this role you will Negotiate agreements with broad protections, favorable license use rights, volume discounts and multi-year contracts with suppliers for the procurement of software licenses, software maintenance and hardware maintenance in support of customer-related business processes or internal use. Advises internal customers on business case requirements, baselines market prices and negotiates best-in-class license & commercial terms based on business requirements, capacity demands and complex license or support optimization options.
Accumulate, organize and cleanse large amounts of data from multiple sources; interpret data and formulate license compliance positions.
What you’ll do
- Negotiate and defend best-in-class software license & commercial terms.
- Partner with Business Units & Technology to optimize licensing & support based on demand and technology roadmaps.
- Verify software license entitlements; interpret contract use rights and recommend strategies for license optimization and risk mitigation.
- Accumulate, organize and cleanse large amounts of data from multiple sources; interpret data and formulate license compliance positions.
- Lead audit defense and compliance dispute negotiations.
- Manage work request volume, complexity and productivity for work assigned within defined SLOs.
What experience you need
- University Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years working on Software Contract Negotiation.
- 2 years of experience interpreting complex software license terms and conditions.
- 2 years of experience with Software License & Support Optimization.
- 2 years of experience with Data gathering and formulation of License Compliance Positions.
- 2 years of experience with Asset Management tools and technologies.
- Excel or Google Sheet experience (Intermediate level)
- English level B2 minimum
