Location:  Chennai

Work Timing: 6 AM to 3 PM IST

Are you interested in identifying and delivering disruptive cutting-edge technologies? We are searching for a seasoned Software Consultant to be a client advocate and bridge the gap between Sales and Development.

What You Will Do:

You will serve as an important primary consulting liaison between the company and the customer and will be responsible for carrying out consulting engagements for customer accounts using Trimble Viewpoint construction accounting and project management software, as well as other point solutions. You will work on multiple software consulting projects as assigned, focusing on implementation and the continued analysis of the customer, business goals, objectives, and needs.

Your Consultant functions will include among other tasks:

• Implement and assist clients with the use of Viewpoint software core Construction ERP Jobpac Connect

• Analyze customers & business requirements and objectives. 

• Provide various levels of Consultation with the clients to implement best practices, standard methodologies, and desired business outcomes according to the client's needs.

• Provide software application training services.

• Monitor, track, and document customer consulting calls and related activities in the Viewpoint ERP system.

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring:

In addition to normal business Core Competencies, you will have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience either Implementing or as an Administrator/Lead user of ERP systems like SAP, JDE, Oracle, IFS or other similar accounting systems. 

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a business consultant.

• Software implementation project work experience, focusing on external client relations.

• Be a subject matter expertise in one or both of the following areas: Accounting principles and practices (e.g. payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, purchase orders, general ledger), and/or Construction project management principles and practices (e.g. project set-up via estimate, project buy-out, project documents, project change orders, job costing, job billing).

• Ability to write Business Specifications for ERP modifications(preferred)

• Knowledge on  SQL Server knowledge, IBM RPG(Preferred)

• Knowledge of Jobpac Connect ERP (Preferred)

• A University degree in business, accounting, or IT, or payroll administration, or equivalent work experience.
