Software Consultant I wanted by Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Inc. in Orlando, Florida.  Lead the solution design efforts for the system, ensuring that documented designs meet architectural, industry, and TNL IT standards. Responsible for design specifications of a large critical application. Analyzes complex business and systems requirements, and designs solutions for applications, data, processes, interfaces, controls, outputs, environment, infrastructure tools/utilities and/or testing that fit within the recommended time frame, architecture, standards and budget. Lead design and development of formalized solution methodologies using structured software design patterns and best practices. Provides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into high level design (HLD), low level design (LLD), interface design document (IDD), using structured software design patterns and best practices. Ensure solution design is in alignment with Enterprise guidelines, meets business expectations, performance SLAs, architectural standards, and meets or surpasses quality benchmarks. Reviews the Solution Architecture document and creates the necessary design artifacts and contributes to project plans and cost estimates. Works with developers to develop answers to ad-hoc technical problems and ensures the low-level design adheres to the application design as well as Development Standards, Best Practices, Security Guidelines and Architecture direction.       

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience; 5 years of experience with agile methodologies including Scrum, XP and Kanban; 5 years of exp demonstrating an understanding of contemporary architectures, design patterns, best practices, and computer programming techniques on ETL/ELT maps; 5 years of experience with data migrations using the following technologies: Informatica Power Center, IDMC tools (CDI, CAI, CIH), Python, RESTful, JSON, Cognos, Shell Scripting; 5 years of experience with API, XML, REST, and enterprise integration technologies including Web Services including SOAP and WSDL5 years of experience with leading small to medium functional onshore and offshore teams; and 5 years of experience with Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models.   May work from home anywhere in the United States.
