What You'll Do
As a Professional Services Software Deployment Engineer II, you will:
Primary Impact
Drive successful implementation and deployment of patient messaging solutions by delivering high-quality technical execution, minimizing deployment risk, and ensuring customers can efficiently adopt and benefit from EnlivenHealth products.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all aspects of complex software implementation and deployment projects, ensuring quality delivery, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide input on project scope, resource requirements, timelines, forecasts, and deliverables to support successful project execution.
- Partner directly with customer project teams throughout all deployment phases, serving as a trusted technical advisor and implementation resource.
- Participate in customer-facing virtual meetings to provide technical guidance, implementation updates, and issue resolution.
- Identify project risks proactively, escalate issues appropriately, and support approved mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Review deployment documentation and validate customer assets to ensure accurate system configuration and reliable business intelligence across the organization.
- Deploy applications across multiple server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
- Install, configure, and support databases and web-based solutions in customer environments.
- Configure, test, and validate application components to meet required performance standards and version specifications.
- Deliver exceptional client service through strong product knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, and customer focus.
- Manage competing priorities and multiple deployment activities while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
- Follow established deployment methodologies while identifying opportunities for process improvements and enhanced operational efficiency.
- Document customer-specific requirements, system configurations, and project activities to ensure accurate records and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with project managers to maintain deployment documentation and project records within centralized repositories.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate bug resolution efforts, and escalate persistent or critical issues throughout the deployment lifecycle.

Required Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings with a high level of effectiveness.
- Strong negotiation/problem solving skills.
- Highly technical and analytical with the ability to collaboratively engage customers, 3rd party vendors, and internal team members in an effective and supportive manner.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills utilizing science and engineering education to arrive at practical solutions.
- Experience with Linux/Unix/Windows, and with Postgres database as well as installing applications on Windows or Linux servers.
- Working knowledge of server hardware and network configurations, web server technology, and SSL security.
- Experience with SaaS technologies such as microservices, docker/containers, and Kubernetes and proficiency with Bash/Ruby.
Minimum Qualifications
- College degree in a Computer Systems related field.
- Two years of demonstrated work experience in healthcare / pharmacy.
- In lieu of College Degree, applicants must meet all following requirements: High School Diploma/GED, Technical Certification in Information Systems / Technology, a minimum two years’ systems engineering experience within a healthcare technology or pharmacy systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Systems related field.
- Pharmacy or clinical operations work experience.
- Experience with effectively presenting technical information to leadership.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Kubernetes distros such as OpenShift, RKE2 and/or Tanzu.
- Experience with Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Virtualization Infrastructure Experience with VMware or similar virtualization tools.
- Networking experience – TCP/IP, DNS, NetBIOS, switching, routing, VLANs.
