Key Responsibilities

Interacts with customers, company sales and /or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales support functions. Provides application and technical assistance and advice to sales force to support the sale and implementation of Applied Materials’ products and services. Application expert, capable of executing on site and in-house high level application activities Typically required to apply software, algorithms, and physics skills to support specialized and/or complex requirements during product implementation and consulting services. Provides the necessary support for product and system installation system Prepare a demo proposal / plan and execute demos and other in-house application tasks. Assists with product presentations and sales efforts with technical/application tasks as needed. Prepare an in depth technical analysis of tool performance Develops plans for post-sale support needs. Identifies opportunities for additional utilization of the systems in customer site in order to generate more business potential Develops, maintains and executes product’s strategy at a given customer in terms of application and technology Participates in product design, testing and documentation reviews as appropriate. Participate in user conferences.

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in Factory Automation Software in the Full Automation and Dispatching discipline and broadens capabilities
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge in execution and optimization of the Factory Production Planning, Scheduling and Dispatching
  • General Software Programming experience and background is required
  • Experience with Windows, Unix & Linux OS (Operating System) is preferred

Business Expertise

  • Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
  • Prior knowledge & experience in Applied APF RTD® & Activity Manager™ products is required
  • Prior knowledge & experience in discrete event simulation tools, such as Applied AutoSched AP is preferred.
  • Prior working experience with any Semiconductor Fab’s MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and EAP (Equipment Application Program) will be added advantage

  • No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
