Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of the Applied Materials SmartFactory® MES solution to identify bugs, issues, and usability concerns.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases or test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and functionality in order to create effective test scenarios.
- Report and track defects using appropriate bug tracking tools, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been fixed and that no new issues have been introduced.
- Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on testability and potential quality issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes.
- Communicate test results and quality metrics to product owner in a clear and concise manner.
- Develops release note and detailed documentation.
Functional Knowledge:
- Have experience with GIT experience.
- Experience with Oracle DB or MSSQL Server is a must.
- Need some experience with Linux in clustered environment is a plus.
- Understanding of accessibility testing principles and guidelines.
- Experience in testing APIs and web services.
Business Expertise:
- Prior experience with MES/CIM Software is a plus.
- Prior working experience in semiconductor industry or semiconductor knowledge will be preferred.
- Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
Leadership:
- No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members.
Problem Solving:
- Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
