Test Planning and Execution- Creation of test plans and test case descriptions
- Planning and setup of test environments
- Execution of functional tests, regression tests, system tests, stress tests, and automated tests for embedded systems
- Analysis and documentation of test results
- Collaboration with developers to resolve issues
- Maintenance of defect databases and test documentation
- Contribution to the further development of test methods and tools
Team Collaboration- Participation in design and code reviews
- Close coordination with development and quality assurance teams
Qualifications- Completed Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in testing firmware and application software
- Familiarity with unit testing
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)
- Experience with tools such as Git/Bitbucket, TestRail, and Jira
- Analytical thinking and structured working approach
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing
Desirable Skills- Experience with DevOps
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Experience with hardware testing tools (e.g., oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
