The Associate Software Engineer will implement, maintain, and integrate ServiceNow Master Data Management application within the organization. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that support enterprise data governance and case management. You will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support, ensuring the integrity and usability of master data across the organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications with a focus on Master Data Management and Case Management modules.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and application features.
- Design and implement data models, workflows, and integrations to support master data governance and lifecycle management.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation of application functionality to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, code reviews, and release management.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow MDM applications, addressing defects and implementing improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations related to data management and software development.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and deployment procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relate field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, and integrations.
- ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist).
- Strong understanding of software development principles and data management practices.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with 2+ full-cycle ServiceNow implementations, ideally involving MDM or case management modules.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and master data lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow Studio.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
