Social Strategy Director

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands (2-3 days per week from the office)

Type: full-time, 12-month FTC with view to extend

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Strategy Director to help us shape bold, innovative digital and social marketing for a leading food industry client across Europe.

In this role, you’ll craft strategies that make food brands culturally relevant, creatively impactful, and performance-driven - covering everything from community engagement and content creation to e-commerce. What You’ll Do
  • Lead Communications Strategy: Own end-to-end social and digital strategy across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
  • Drive Cultural Relevance: Spot trends, tap into communities, and make food brands part of the cultural conversation.
  • Champion AI Innovation: Use AI to uncover insights, optimize campaigns, and push creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with local markets, social teams, and creators to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Optimize with Data: Leverage analytics and social listening to refine strategies and maximize performance.
  • Plan Real-Time Content: Build frameworks for timely, fan-focused engagement during key cultural moments.
