Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a creative and motion-savvy Social Media Video Editor to join Wise’s global Organic Social team.
This role is perfect for an editor who wants to push the boundaries of social content — blending sharp storytelling, editing craft, and motion design to create videos that travel. From IG to TikTok and YouTube Shorts to motion-driven travel content and experimental concepts, you’ll help shape work that’s seen by millions.
You’ll work closely with our global content creators to bring ideas to life across formats and platforms. If you’re someone who loves both the speed of social and the craft of editing, this is your chance to create work with global reach and real cultural impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Editing short-form and mid-form video content optimised for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other vertical-first platforms.
- Bringing creative concepts to life with high-quality motion design and storytelling.
- Designing and maintaining motion templates and visual systems to scale our production
- Shaping edits for travel series, product launches, and cultural moments.
- Collaborating with social managers, strategists, and creatives to refine formats and execution.
- Balancing speed, craft, and performance to deliver content that resonates globally.
- You’re a strong video editor with proven experience creating content for social platforms.
- You know your way around Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- You have a sharp eye for pacing, storytelling, and what makes content perform online.
- You’re adaptable — comfortable switching between fast-turnaround reactive edits and polished, high-concept videos.
- You’re collaborative, open to feedback, and enjoy working in a fast-moving creative environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with 3D design tools (Blender, Cinema 4D).
- Skills in sound design or audio mixing.
- Experience creating templates or scalable editing systems.
- Colour grading skills for social.
- A portfolio that shows experimentation across different formats and styles.

We expect new joiners in the office most days to build connections and learn from colleagues for their first six months. After that, most Wisers split their working week between the office and home, typically coming in at least 12 times a month.
