Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Lead to join our Video Services Growth Marketing & Acquisition Media team in Denver, Colorado. Working under the direction of the Growth Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating, executing, and optimizing paid social media customer acquisition strategies across DISH TV and Sling TV.
With support from Growth Marketing management, the Social Media Marketing Lead will analyze channel performance data, manage external agency execution, and coordinate day-to-day media allocations across key social platforms to acquire net-new, profitable subscribers. The position combines hands-on media analysis, structured testing frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our paid social marketing programs meet performance targets (CPA, LTV, and ROMI).
- Execute platform-specific paid social media roadmaps for DISH and Sling TV across various social media platforms including Meta, TikTok, Reddit, X, and Pinterest.
- Collaborate with organic social teams and external creators to deploy influencer and creator assets within performance engines. Manage workflows for asset delivery, campaign setup, and paid amplification structures (e.g., Partnership Ads, Spark Ads).
- Analyze campaign performance data to deliver actionable creative direction to internal and agency partners. Support the design and execution of A/B and multivariate testing matrices (testing hooks, creative messaging, short-form video) to improve conversion rates, lower cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and increase Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
- Serve as the point of contact for external media agencies. Review agency recommendations, monitor daily campaign delivery, and ensure agency execution aligns with established media plans and target KPIs.
- Monitor multi-platform media spend and analyze platform metrics based on marketing goals (CPA, LTV, ROMI). Identify reallocation opportunities based on platform, geographic, and daily performance metrics to maximize subscriber growth within allocated budgets.
- Partner with internal Analytics teams to implement and validate technical marketing infrastructure (GA4, Conversions API, server-to-server tracking, pixel configurations, etc.). Use Tableau and/or various analytics platforms to track attribution metrics and build regular performance reports for leadership.
- Coordinate with GTM, Strategy, Finance, and Brand teams to align social media campaigns with promotional calendars and product launches. Enforce cross-channel campaign naming conventions and operational taxonomies for clean reporting.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring):
- Hands-on experience with media measurement tracking tools and analytics (Platform Dashboards, Tableau, Excel, etc.).
- Technical understanding of social campaign creation , platform dynamics, and audience targeting across Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and emerging social platforms.
- Ability to synthesize campaign data and technical metrics into actionable recommendations and clear reportings.
- Demonstrated experience managing or analyzing digital media budgets across paid search, paid social, or video acquisition channels.
- Experience running structured creative testing matrices, A/B testing, or measurement frameworks.
- Prior experience coordinating workflows with external agencies or cross-functional creative/analytics teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Information Systems, Business Administration, Media Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in digital media, multi-channel performance marketing, data analytics or similar role.
- Must have experience with:
- Media measurement tracking tools and analytics (Platform Dashboards, Tableau, Excel, etc.).
- Technical understanding of social campaign creation , platform dynamics, and audience targeting across Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and emerging social platforms.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

Skills Required

- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing or media
- 3+ years leading high-velocity paid social portfolios at scale
- Fluency with Meta Ads Manager
- Fluency with TikTok Ads Manager
- Experience directing enterprise-level media agencies of record (AOR)
- Technical mastery of server-to-server tracking and Conversions API (CAPI)
- Experience integrating paid social inputs into Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and incrementality frameworks
- Deep strategic expertise in platform-native creative direction and structured creative testing
- Advanced financial acumen managing large-scale media budgets and evaluating unit economics (CPA, LTV/CAC)
- AI literacy and experience using generative AI, creative automation, DCO, and predictive analytics to optimize creative and targeting
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
