Horatio is looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Content Specialist to support the launch and growth of our new operations in Honduras. This role will be responsible for planning, producing, and publishing engaging content that showcases our culture, people, and career opportunities across social media platforms.

1. Content Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies focused on employer branding and talent attraction/acquisition.
  • Create content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook aligned with Horatio’s brand values, content pillars, and recruitment marketing goals.
  • Identify relevant trends, formats, and cultural moments that resonate with the Honduran audience.
  • Build and maintain a weekly content calendar aligned with hiring priorities and company milestones.
  • Ensure visual, tonal, and narrative consistency across all social media content.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to leverage cross-office content and shared storytelling initiatives
2. Content Production and Execution
  • Develop creative concepts, scripts, hooks, and storytelling formats for short-form video and social content.
  • Film on-site content including but not limited to office progress updates, day-in-the-life features, employee interviews, and hiring campaigns.
  • Provide media coverage of internal activations such as job fairs, open houses, team events,PEC and other internal activities, and community initiatives.
  • Coordinate content logistics including employee participation, locations, props, and filming schedules.
  • Capture both planned and spontaneous moments that reflect Horatio’s work culture and team environment.
  • Support photography and video shoots to ensure high-quality visual assets.
3. Post-Production and Publishing
  • Edit video content for social media platforms, including subtitles, formatting, and platform-specific optimization.
  • Ensure quality assurance of all content assets before publication, maintaining brand standards and technical specifications.
  • Schedule and publish content according to the approved content calendar.
  • Monitor content performance and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Support the launch and growth of Horatio Honduras social media accounts through consistent and strategic publishing.
4. Collaboration and Growth Support
  • Work closely with the Site Director, Recruitment team, and Marketing leadership to highlight hiring needs and company updates.
  • Understand the recruitment needs and the urgency of the hiring request, to provide them with the needs.
  • Support storytelling around the office launch, team expansion, and company culture.
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen Horatio’s employer brand presence in Honduras.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve content performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bilingual (English + Spanish)
  • Stay updated with relevant social media trends 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Multimedia, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience managing or creating content for social media platforms, preferably Instagram and TikTok.
  • Strong skills in short-form video storytelling, including scripting, filming, and editing.
  • Experience using content creation tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and directing others during filming when needed.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, engagement tactics, and platform best practices.

Skills Required

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Multimedia, Journalism, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years managing or creating content for social media platforms
  • Experience specifically with Instagram and TikTok (preferred)
  • Strong skills in short-form video storytelling: scripting, filming, and editing
