The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the coordination of planning, production, and implementation of social media platforms including launching, scheduling, engaging, and reporting.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Oversees and coordinates all casino campaigns with Marketing Department management for social media coverage.
  2. Coordinates and creates production, postings, schedules, contests, and engagement for each of the company’s social media platforms that are current, relevant, or trending to ensure positive promotion of the property.
  3. Ensures support for all facility departments.
  4. Coordinates with and supports the Legacy Rewards Player Club events and promotions.
  5. Responsible for social media productions, including photography, filming, and editing content.
  6. Coordinates social media coverage of current or scheduled events on or off company property, and staffing of events with department Team Members
  7. Develops social media marketing campaigns and strategies with the Marketing Manager by studying economic indicators, identifying guests, and monitoring competition for each media platform.
  8. Assist with advertising traffic plan and implementation to work simultaneously with digital marketing schedule.
  9. Plans and executes social media efforts to work, build, and support company’s SEO/SEM status and website traffic, views, and visits.
  10. Measures and reports performance of all social media platforms and campaigns.
  11. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of records and reports.
  12. Assist in coordination of website and social media coverage of public relations efforts including, but not limited to press conferences, tribal events, political events, property tours, press releases, chamber events, etc.
  13. Coordinates and plans social media coverage of all donation/sponsorship approvals for community support.
  14. Oversees social media production, content, and coverage.
  15. Respond to Guest’s comments on behalf of the company.
  16. Coordinates with company departments to produce, edit, and create video and digital content.
  17. Attends internal and external events as needed to develop community relations.
  18. Must be knowledgeable with all services, products, promotions, and events offered on property.
  19. Coordinate with Community Liaison Coordinator for social media coverage on community events in the company’s markets to ensure company exposure.
  20. Prepares reports on events and various marketing programs from social media.
  21. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
  22. All other departmental duties as assigned.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21).
  2. Associates degree plus two (2) years of social media marketing experience, or a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in social media marketing.
  3. Knowledge and experience with marketing concepts.
  4. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus not required.
  5. Knowledge and experience in image and video editing on a desktop computer.
  6. Knowledge and experience in image and video editing on mobile devices.
  7. Knowledge and experience in social media platforms and digital marketing.
  8. Knowledge and experience with filming and video equipment, tripods, light, sound, cameras, and mobile devices, and tablets.
  9. Knowledge and experience with mass social media distribution, scheduling, and reporting platforms example: Hootsuite or Sendible.
  10. Experience in filming social media content for a business.
  11. Experience being filmed for social media content for a business.
  12. Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
  13. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, internet, and office equipment.
  14. Must have a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through Eagle Mountain Casino’s insurance carrier.
  15. Willing to attend trainings and train others.
  16. Willing to work nights and weekends.
  17. Willing to travel for events and trainings.
  18. Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVINONMENTAL:
  1. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
  2. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
  4. Environment is administrative setting with occasional visits to the casino floor.
  5. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  6. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  7. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Must be able to travel.
  9. Noise level is normally an office setting, and moderate to high when on casino floor.
  10. Exposed to cigarette smoke, ringing bells, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
  11. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
