Main priorities:
- Lead and implement effective organic social media strategy in EMEA to drive awareness and engagement around business priorities
- Collaborate with regional teams to integrate social media into wider communication projects and act as an advisor on how best to leverage different types of content on our company’s social media channels
- Continuously improve social media performance by capturing, analyzing and executing appropriate trends, social data/metrics, insights and best practices
- Nurture employee advocacy and engagement on social media through active management of employee advocacy tool, implementation of engagement ideas, best practices
- Manage regional agencies to develop creative content around key initiatives and build out weekly calendar of content
- Coordinate with regional events team to plan social coverage prior and during local events
- Draft engaging social copy to promote new content assets
- Build a report on regional campaign performance on social
- Support global corporate announcement by reamplifying across regional channels
- Attend meetings with field managers to brainstorm upcoming campaigns, events, content ideas, etc.
Typical day:
- Check emails and other social media requests in our internal task management tool
- Check calendar and ensure all posts are scheduled
- On a weekly basis, create the social media calendar for the next week for all supported regions (UKI, DACH, France, Italy, EMEA-wide)
- Once per week check availability for new, localized content available for promo
- During events, ensure constant communication with event specialists on site to provide photos and ensure timely publishing for the live-coverage posts.
- Check status for all the ongoing tasks/activities: Creative approval process, various campaign creations, etc.
- Add content and suggested social copy to employee advocacy tool
Requirements:
- Expertise in social media marketing (platforms, management, reporting, etc.) with proven working experience in multinational environments (ideally B2B / software)
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail – Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, requests at once
- Creative thinking, willingness to propose new ideas / experiment / take risks, strong sense of self-initiative, being proactive
- Advanced English proficiency – Strong speaking, excellent copywriting skills needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media management tools (Sprout Social ideal)
- Experience with Excel for reporting purposes (pivots, rules & formulas)
- Strong interest and knowledge of IT / virtualization / tech industry
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Monday
