As Remington Park’s Social Media Manager, this position is responsible for curating, writing, delivering, and publishing posts across multiple social media platforms — Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, buying ads, monetize digital presence through online contest sponsorships, collaborate with the director to identify influencers for online campaigns, and explore additional opportunities for growth. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with different departments within the organization to create content that shows how we create a winning experience at Remington Park.  

Essential Job Functions:        

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of our social media strategy
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
  • Assists the Corporate Director, Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy with development & execution of cross-channel social media campaigns.
  • Support ad buying across all social media platforms and assess performance.
  • Monetize digital presence through online contest sponsorships, identify potential sponsors, and gather first-party data to expand the company database and enhance overall monetization.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Director to pinpoint and engage influencers for targeted online campaigns, and coordinate events for key PR activities to maximize impact.
  • Attend scheduled or pre-determined events to stream and produce live social media content.
  • Leads day-to-day management of Remington Park’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube) including post scheduling, page monitoring, proactive follower/content engagement, data benchmarking and content sourcing from influencers.
  • Utilize marketing tools (meltwater, Google Analytics) to review data, glean insights, and report monthly dashboards that highlight progress towards annual goals for each social media platform.
  • Engages in proactive research to aid with brand initiatives. i.e.: industry research, social media listening, following and engaging with relevant accounts/potential customers, competitor research.
  • Manages and optimizes social media budgets by forecasting spending, tracking monthly expenditures, analyzing ROI, and reallocating funds across platforms to maximize campaign performance and stay within organizational financial guidelines.
  • Ensures that all marketing messages are delivered on time and to the appropriate channels based on the brands’ master content calendars.
  • Proactively generates high level marketing ideas to be executed across multiple platforms. 
  • Setup and track web analytics using various social media and analytical tools.
  • Measures and reports on the success of every social media campaign for future development.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization 
  • Review all posts and add comments across all social media channels and respond promptly, escalating priority customer concerns and inquiries to the appropriate local contact. 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing
  • 3+ years’ experience in a role heavily focused on social media
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions 
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices 
  • Skill in managing and optimizing social media budgets, including forecasting spending, monitoring expenditures, and analyzing ROI
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics 
  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research 
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs 
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing 
  • Excellent attention management skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 
  • Team player 
  • Excellent time-management skills 
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Must be extremely organized and able to adapt in a constantly changing industry

  • Must be able to pass Title 31Training

Licenses/Certifications/Other:  

  • Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test with a negative result

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years' experience in marketing
  • 3+ years' experience in a role heavily focused on social media
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Experience using Meltwater and Google Analytics (or similar analytics tools)
  • Experience with social ad buying and budget management
  • Ability to pass Title 31 training
  • Must pass background check and receive any applicable regulatory license/permit
