ICF Next is looking for a Social Media Manager to work from one of our client's premises.
The Social Media Manager will maintain, update, monitor, and promote the client’s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram. This role involves creating and updating creative visual content, gathering social media data, engaging in community management, and providing analytical support for social media campaigns and day-to-day activities.
Functions and Duties
Social Media:
- Collaborate with the social media manager to implement the client’s social media strategy and execute plans for small- and large-scale campaigns.
- Enhance and maintain the client’s brand and reputation on social media through community management on relevant platforms.
- Draft social media content, create visual materials, and produce engaging videos to promote the organization’s actions and initiatives.
- Prepare social media plans for key events or awareness days, and provide live event coverage through platforms such as X (Twitter) and Instagram Stories.
- Coordinate with the social media manager, audiovisual content manager, web editor, and communications officers to create and promote diverse content, including news, blogs, photo stories, and videos, for existing and new audiences.
- Publish posts and manage online communities across the client’s social media platforms.
- Support the execution of paid social media campaigns by providing feedback, quality checks, and creative input.
Statistical Analysis of Data and Advice:
- Conduct weekly and ad-hoc analyses of social media accounts to track performance and gather insights on ongoing campaigns and events.
- Utilize tools such as Meta Business Suite, X (Twitter) Analytics, Emplifi, Talkwalker, or similar platforms to deliver actionable insights to management and colleagues.
External Communication:
- Work as part of the client's digital communication team to coordinate and optimize the impact of campaigns and communication actions.
- Collaborate with partners, stakeholders, and other organizations to share and disseminate social media content effectively.
Requirements:
Social Media:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience is essential.
(Web) Editing, Graphic Design, and (Photo) Illustration:
- Experience with tools such as Canva, Premiere Rush, or similar is an advantage.
Audiovisual and Mass Media:
- Relevant experience is an advantage.
Languages
- English: C2 level in listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
- French: B2 level in listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
Knowledge Areas
- Communication and publication strategies, including external communication and multimedia publishing.
- Social media theory, practice, and development.
- IT tools for web systems and applications, such as SharePoint.
Competences
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to evaluate data and propose solutions.
- Communication Skills: Capacity to draft, present, and effectively convey specialized information to diverse audiences.
- Resilience: Ability to manage stress and work under pressure.
