Position Title: Social Media Manager
Location: MacDill AFB, FL.
Clearance required: SECRET clearance minimum, with eligibility for TS/SCI
Scope of Work: Oversees planning, creation, and management of CCPA English and foreign-language social media platforms, leading content strategy, creative design, technical upkeep, and analytics.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee planning and execution of CCPA English and foreign-language social media platforms and supervise Regional Media Analysts on region-specific plans.
- Develop, synchronize, and publish frequent social media posts, maintaining consistent messaging during crisis events.
- Analyze performance data (viewership, followership, regional trends) and prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Ensure security compliance across platforms and regularly review access protocols and account security.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital communication strategy with posting frameworks and SMART goals.
- Maintain a database of social media aliases of key individuals and organizations and provide real-time engagement recommendations.
- Secret clearance at time of award, with eligibility for TS/SCI
- U.S. citizenship; fluent English
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a social media management role, with a Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
- Proven ability to create engaging social media content aligned with command objectives
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media dashboards
