Key Responsibilities:  

  • Plan and create engaging content across various platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube.  
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitor activities.  
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to integrate social media plans with overall marketing campaigns.  
  • Plan and schedule content across social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging.  
  • Create engaging and shareable content, including text, images, and videos.  
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of social media campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.  
  • Create compelling and visually appealing content – from phone-shot content on shoots with our ambassadors, to editing Instagram Story templates promoting a new product, to briefing videographers on higher productions.  
  • Editing videos to optimise performance for each social media platform.  
  • Generate ideas that align with our brand's tone of voice and values.  
  • Collaborate with the influencer team to activate our ambassadors and drive engagement.  
  • Identify new opportunities to increase Myprotein’s reach across social media, including spotting new influencers, publishers and channels to collaborate with.  
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics and KPIs to improve content and engagement  
  • Manage social media communities and respond to customer inquiries and feedback  
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that Myprotein is at the forefront of social media innovation.  

Requirements:  

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field  
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role  
  • Expertise in social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and others  
  • Excellent communication and writing skills  
  • Proficiency in Adobe suite, including Photoshop and After Effects  
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment  
  • Experience using third party publishing and analytics tools is a plus  
  • A knowledge of the brand and passion for health, fitness, and nutrition – especially in weight lifting and hybrid training - is a plus.
