David Weekley Homes is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern for our Jacksonville division. This internship offers hands-on experience creating photo and video content for Facebook and Instagram while showcasing our homes, communities, events, and team culture.
Responsibilities
- Capture and edit photos, videos, and social platform reels.
- Travel to Jacksonville-area communities and events to gather content.
- Assist with content planning and organization.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Construction, and other teams.
- Research social media trends and recommend creative ideas.
- Support additional marketing projects as needed.
- Must be currently enrolled in a college degree program pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Juniors and seniors are preferred.
- Experience creating social media content through coursework, employment, student organizations, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
- Creative, dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
- Portfolio or examples of photo, video, or social media work are preferred.
- Interest in homebuilding, real estate, design, or lifestyle content is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Jacksonville area is required.
- This internship includes a combination of office and field work.
