As a part of A.K.A Brands; we are a global player with offices located in Los Angeles and Australia’s Gold Coast. With big plans ahead, we're always on the hunt for new talent to join our global team.
Princess Polly is searching for a strategic, creative, and platform-obsessed Social Content Manager to drive global channel growth through innovation, hands-on leadership, and flawless execution of our social strategy as set by the Social Media Director. In this role, you’ll help lead the daily operations of our Social team, oversee and guide our global content creators, and champion forward-thinking ideas that elevate performance across organic and paid channels to make a meaningful impact on millions of social-first customers worldwide.
You’re a creative thinker, analytical problem-solver, and platform-native storyteller who leads by example. You thrive in fast-paced environments, know how to bring out the best in others, and are confident both on camera and behind it. You understand what truly drives engagement and growth - and can translate that knowledge into clear direction, feedback, and momentum for the team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the day-to-day management and output of the Social team, ensuring content is planned, created, scheduled, posted, and optimised across all platforms
- Directly mentor our internal content creators, setting clear expectations, reviewing outputs, giving real-time feedback, and driving accountability across daily deliverables
- Oversee the end-to-end content workflow from ideation and briefing, through creation, editing, approvals, scheduling, posting, and optimisation
- Manage the global content calendar, ensuring feeds are consistently on-brand, trend-aware, commercially aligned, and delivered on time
- Take ownership of feed management, ensuring pacing, mix, tone, and visual cohesion are optimised for each platform
- Lead the execution of global social strategies in close partnership with the Social Media Director, translating strategy into clear daily actions and outputs for the team
- Create high-performing content for organic and paid channels, while also setting the standard for quality, hooks, pacing, and platform-first storytelling across the team
- Lead social shoot days and content capture sessions, maximising output, efficiency, and alignment to the content calendar
- Use performance insights, platform trends, and testing results to guide what gets made, when it’s posted, and how it’s iterated
- Collaborate closely with Performance, Creative, and PR teams to deliver integrated campaigns, social-first moments, and reactive content opportunities
You’ll succeed in this role if you have:
- 3+ years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy, with demonstrated experience managing or mentoring team members
- Proven ability to lead the execution of social strategies through teams, driving sustained channel growth and performance
- Strong hands-on experience producing and editing short-form video, with the ability to guide and upskill others on best practices
- High-level reporting and analytical skills, with experience translating insights into clear direction and feedback for teams
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Meta tools, and emerging platforms, with the confidence to lead platform-first execution
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- A passion for testing, iteration, and creative innovation, with a track record of fostering a test-and-learn culture within teams
