Reporting to the Senior Influencer & Social Manager, our Social Content Lead – Own Brands is an integral part of the team, responsible for bringing our Own Brand social channels to life through engaging, trend-led and brand-aligned content. This role will support the growth of our Own Brands by creating and curating compelling content, building engaged communities, analysing performance insights, and partnering across Marketing, Creative, Product and Customer teams to deliver social content that drives connection, engagement and brand love.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity across assigned Own Brand social channels.
  • Create, schedule and publish engaging social content that aligns with brand tone of voice, personality and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure a consistent posting schedule and an engaged social community.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and support timely community engagement.
  • Review, analyse and report on social content performance, using insights to improve content and engagement.
  • Stay across social trends, platform updates, challenges and content opportunities to support Own Brand growth.
  • Support creative social content ideation, storytelling and concept development across campaigns.
  • Review influencer and UGC content for suitability across Own Brand channels.
  • Coordinate and respond to influencer collaboration requests.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Product, Paid Media, Customer Service, Analytics and Insights teams to support cohesive campaigns and brand messaging.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • You have at least 2+ years experience working in Social Media. 
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to take on new challenges
  • A creative mind, able to think of ideas that haven’t been done before (for gifting, initiatives, events)
  • Exceptional knowledge of influencers on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Ability to manage content calendars, deadlines and multiple social priorities.
  • Collaborative working style, with confidence partnering across teams.
  • Customer-focused approach, with the ability to support community engagement and respond to feedback.
  • Understanding of organic and paid social alignment, including identifying content suitable for paid support.
  • Ability to use performance insights to influence content themes, campaign ideas and social strategy improvements.
  • You have strong communication, creative and storytelling skills, with the ability to create content that drives value for our communities 
  • You have a collaborative attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You’re known for your eye for detail, accountability and excellent organisational / multitasking skills.
  • You know how to be agile in your approach to work and can pivot easily
  • As a digital native, you approach everything app and mobile first. 
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications or a related field, or equivalent reputable experience in Influencer Marketing, Social Media and/or Public Relations.

Skills Required

  • At least 2 years experience working in Social Media
