Business Analyst – Finance
Description
The Finance Team in Income comprises Regulatory Reporting, Management Reporting, Collection, Disbursement, Bank Reconciliation, Credit Control, GIRO, Tax, Fund Accounting and Business Analyst & Projects.
You will be part of the Business Analyst team that supports Income’s transformation journey. As Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the implementation of new products and services, systems, and supporting various finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Finance in discussions with business leaders and IT
- Represent Finance in New Product Launch implementation
- Represent Finance in the system change prioritization for core and non-core systems
- Support Finance work streams and Finance stakeholders and in-depth participation in Finance related activities and projects
- Work with IT and onshore/offshore vendors to resolve system issues
- Provide first level support for and audit support on Finance related application, namely SAP FICO, SAP HANA / Fiori and Oracle Hyperion Essbase reporting.
- Work with FN-IT Business Partner for vendor management and service delivery, IT maintenance support and renewal tender for Finance applications
- Provide budgeting submission and cost control for Finance applications
- Lead and manage all aspects of project management life cycle
- Continuously looking for improvements in system and process flows
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy / Business / IT or a relevant discipline
- Relevant Business Analyst and Project Management experience in Finance related projects
- 3-6 years’ experience in an insurance/Financial services industry
- Knowledge and implementation experience in SDLC and agile
- Processes strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Collaborative individual with good interpersonal skills ability to influence stakeholders from various business lines
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Primary Work Location: Income Insurance, Income Centre, 75 Bras Basah Road
Skills Required
- Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Business, IT, or a relevant discipline
- Relevant Business Analyst and Project Management experience in finance-related projects
- 3–6 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry
- Knowledge and implementation experience in SDLC and Agile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Collaborative interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders across business lines
