Tiger Analytics looking for a Snowflake Administrator - DataOps with 12–15 years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on experience supporting Snowflake administration, DataOps, and DevOps in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the Snowflake platform, ensuring its availability, security, performance, scalability, and operational stability, while also supporting automation, deployment, monitoring, and DataOps processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support enterprise Snowflake environments, including accounts, databases, schemas, warehouses, roles, users, and access controls.
  • Manage Snowflake security and access, including RBAC, role hierarchy, user provisioning, authentication, and data access policies.
  • Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance and resource utilization, including virtual warehouses, queries, workloads, and credit consumption.
  • Support Snowflake upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance, and production releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake platform, connectivity, performance, and data pipeline issues.
  • Support DataOps and DevOps processes for Snowflake-based data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake database objects, code, configurations, and deployments.
  • Automate administrative and operational activities using Python, SQL, Shell scripting, or similar technologies.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational dashboards for Snowflake environments.
  • Support data ingestion and integration processes and troubleshoot failures across enterprise data pipelines.

Requirements
    1. 12–15 years of overall IT experience with strong experience in enterprise data platforms.
    2. Extensive hands-on experience in Snowflake administration and platform support.
    3. Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and cloud data warehousing.
    4. Experience with Snowflake RBAC, security, user/role management, and access controls.
    5. Strong knowledge of Snowflake warehouses, databases, schemas, stages, file formats, streams, tasks, and Snowpipe.
    6. Experience with Snowflake performance monitoring and optimization.
    7. Experience supporting production Snowflake environments and resolving critical operational issues.
    8. Hands-on experience with DataOps and DevOps practices.
    9. Experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated deployment processes.
