Position Overview The SNF Billing Specialist is responsible for managing the billing cycle for Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) services. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit claims for SNF services to insurance companies and government payers.

- Generate and analyze aging reports to track outstanding balances and identify collection priorities.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing guidelines.

- Maintain accurate billing records and support month-end reporting.
- Assist in audits and provide documentation as required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care settings.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and payer requirements.
- Ability to generate and interpret aging reports and financial data.
- MS Excel and database management skills.
