Partner with payroll specialists, implementation teams and other stakeholders to define efficient customer implementation approaches, including data migration, custom reporting, process controls and automation requirements.
Influence senior stakeholders across teams and countries, translate complex business needs into sustainable solutions, and build alignment on priorities, design choices, risks, resources and delivery outcomes without relying on formal authority.
Assess the automation landscape proactively, identify high-value opportunities and dependencies, and provide evidence-based recommendations for investment, sequencing, standardisation or retirement of solutions.
Own the integrity, sustainability and scalability of the automation portfolio, ensuring that existing tools remain controlled, supported, documented and fit for purpose throughout their lifecycle.
Define performance indicators and report the realised business impact of automation initiatives, including improvements in accuracy, efficiency, capacity, control effectiveness, risk reduction, customer experience and service quality.
Coach and provide technical direction to automation specialists, payroll experts and business users, building capability, encouraging knowledge sharing and promoting consistent automation practices across the organisation.
Monitor relevant technology, regulatory, security and market developments, assess their implications and translate emerging practices into practical improvements for the function and its customers.
