Slovenian Metadata Specialist (Onsite, Austin, TX)

Welocalize, a global leader in language and AI data services, is looking for a native Slovenian speaker to join our on-site team in Austin, TX. You'll be part of a high-impact project that helps millions of users worldwide discover and enjoy quality entertainment.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Review and verify metadata (like movie titles, descriptions, genres) in Slovenian

• Suggest edits and improvements to ensure content is culturally accurate and relevant

• Report patterns or issues to improve product quality

• Work alongside a diverse international team

• Test tools and workflows, providing valuable feedback

• Help make the user experience seamless and enjoyable

Location:

• On-site in Austin, TX (Northeast area)

• Full-time, 40 hours/week

Project Duration:

• 12 months with a possibility of extension

Type of Employment:

• W2 Contract with eligibility for benefits

Pay Rate:

• $27/hour

Schedule Options:

• Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday

• 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

You are a great fit if you have:

• Native-level Slovenian (spoken and written)

• Passion for media, entertainment, and digital content

• Strong communication skills in English

• Great attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies

• A good sense of cultural nuance and local references

• Familiarity with Slovenian and global pop culture, social media, movies, and TV

• Ability to stay focused and motivated during repetitive tasks

• Experience using Apple products or MS Office is a plus

Preferred (but not required):

• Degree in fields like Arts, Media, Literature, or Film

• Skills in spreadsheets or XML
