As a Sitecore Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining robust, full-stack solutions that support our internal Public Affairs department. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic usage of Sitecore, enhance new or existing functionality, and integrate Sitecore to meet business requirements.

This is a hybrid position. The Minneapolis Fed believes in flexibility to balance the demands of work and life while also recognizing the necessity of connecting and collaborating with our colleagues in person. As such, you are expected to be in the office at least one day per week for meetings and team collaboration.
Our Technology Division's Solutions Delivery team is seeking to add one Sitecore Engineer, the vacancy may be filled at either level: Senior or Advanced Engineer.
Responsibilities:

Work with diverse technologies to design, build (code), test, debug, document, implement and maintain solutions and/or patterns for existing and new systems or hardware within the boundaries of existing standards, processes, or operational plans.

Develop problem resolution for application software or hardware as needed. Conduct research and testing to determine cause and makes necessary corrections.

Work on multiple tasks simultaneously and produces high quality products while adhering to the PDLC. Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define the solutions and
-
realize architecture blueprints into solution components with a focus on business benefit/value.

Create technical enabler user stories and work with Scrum master to define sprint goals/objectives.

Contribute to product planning meetings and provides inputs on technical options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on business processes and goals.

Work closely with solution leads to assure all systems and solutions are in line with IT strategy and met with security requirements.

Work closely with product owners to define business feature requirements.

Write unit tests and integration tests to verify functionality and ensure code quality.

Perform the peer code review with peers to ensure high quality of codes and implement best practices and standards.

Implement technology agnostic solutions that adhere to Enterprise Architecture roadmap/standards.

Mentor Developers and Engineers (e.g., Player-Coach); leads by example.

Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies, software development tools, and frameworks.
The following qualification of education and work experience must be met to be considered for the Engineer, Advanced level:

Associate degree and 11 years of progressive experience in web application development OR
-
Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of progressive experience in web application development OR
-
Master's degree and 7 years of progressive experience in web application development
The following qualification of education and work experience must be met to be considered for the Engineer, Senior level:

Associate degree and 8 years of progressive experience in web application development OR
-
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive experience in web application development OR
-
Master's degree and 4 years of progressive experience web application development
Required knowledge and experience that are applicable at either level:
- Experience in core Sitecore server-side development experience with proficiency in Sitecore site design/layouts, Sitecore MVC, API development, C# language, and .NET technologies
- Proven ability of development experience in front-end web development - HTML5, CSS, JavaScript; and moderate development experience in using modern UI frameworks (i.e. React)
- Deep hands-on experience implementing best practices in content publishing, workflow, custom fields, template design, and media library items; and integrating with modern website analytics tools
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and self-learning skills.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills (i.e. Team First).
- Willingness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Being able to drive the entire feature functionality development cycle from the understanding requirement to deploy/operate applications/services.
- Experience with unit level and integration level testing.
Additional Information:
Full Salary Range for Engineer, Advanced:
$119,800- $149,720 - $179,700 Annual
Full Salary Range Senior, Engineer:
$103,700- $129,662 $155,600 Annual
Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
