Job Title: Sitecore Developer
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka-India
Position Overview:
Johnson Controls is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sitecore Developer to join our Global Marketing IT team. As a Sitecore Developer, you will support the development and implementation of Sitecore-based solutions, assist with technical tasks, and contribute to creating high-quality digital experiences using the Sitecore platform. You will collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver effective and scalable Sitecore solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of Sitecore solutions under the guidance of senior developers.
- Support in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving performance issues and bugs in the Sitecore environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement Sitecore features that meet business requirements.
- Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Assist with the integration of Sitecore with third-party systems and services.
- Contribute to maintaining technical documentation and system configuration details.
- Participate in code reviews to learn and improve your skills in line with best practices.
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and QA engineers to support the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Sitecore certifications on latest version (e.g., Sitecore Certified Professional Developer) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sitecore Developer or a similar role with at least 3-5 years of experience
- Hands on experience with implementing Multi-brand, multi-site and multi-lingual Sitecore solutions with globally shared centralized SXA component inventory
- Basic knowledge of .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development technologies.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn new technologies and development practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably Azure, is a bonus.
