We are looking for a very motivated individual to join our Pumps, Cyclones, Valves (PCV) and Knelson Concentrator team in the Ghana office.
Location: Tarkwa
Your responsibilities
- Visit sites regularly (frequency agreed on with Site Account Manager and PC&V Site Sales)
- Must have the knowledge and ability to oversee the installation, maintenance, and rebuild of PC&V/Knelson equipment on site
- Must have a basic understanding of how PC&V/Knelson equipment works in the multiple mineral processing system
- Must have basic PC&V/Knelson onsite troubleshooting knowledge
- Contact Site Sales and PLM for assistance with process/advanced problems and new opportunities
- Ensure aftermarket business is delivered on time and the customer is happy
- Maintain site installation base information for both FLS and competitor equipment
- Ensure ROPs on site and at FLS locations are sufficient to keep the customer running.
What you bring
- B.Sc. degree in Engineering discipline (e.g., Mineral, Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical)
- 3-4 years working experience with pumps, cyclones, valves and Knelson installations and rebuilds.
- Ability to travel long hours within Ghana and other West Africa countries.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages, spoken by Customers in the region will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of selection, sizing, and operating parameters.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills – both external and internal.
- Team player, able to balance multiple team memberships.
- Good organization, multitasking and time management skills
